Allied Health Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and collaborative Allied Health Manager to lead our multidisciplinary team and drive excellence in clinical care and service delivery.

The Opportunity

As the Allied Health Manager, you will play a key leadership role in shaping rehabilitation outcomes for our patients and supporting a high‑performing clinical workforce. This position oversees team leadership, service planning, clinical governance, quality improvement, education, and daily operational management across all Allied Health disciplines.

You will work closely with the CEO/DON, Nurse Unit Managers and medical teams to strengthen integrated service delivery, drive innovation and support continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Allied Health team.
  • Oversee clinical governance, patient safety and evidence‑based rehabilitation practice.
  • Ensure timely and effective Allied Health service delivery across inpatient and outpatient programs.
  • Manage departmental staffing, performance, workforce planning and professional development.
  • Drive service improvements, program development and accreditation readiness.
  • Manage budgets, operational performance and key quality indicators.
  • Support the implementation of FIM, outcome measures and health fund business rules.
  • Foster strong collaboration across clinical and non‑clinical departments.

What You Bring

  • AHPRA registration as an Allied Health practitioner (Physio, OT, Social Work, Psychology, SP, EP, Dietetics or related).
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience, ideally in rehabilitation or acute care.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, guide and support a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong understanding of private hospital operations and contemporary rehabilitation practice.
  • Experience in workforce management, budgeting, service planning and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • A collaborative, patient‑centred approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in management, health administration or rehabilitation.
