Your Rehabilitation Program

Our rehabilitation physician undertakes a thorough assessment and discussion with each patient about their individual goals before determining the structure of each program.

Programs are personalised to the needs of each patient to help them function independently and safely, and may, involve various therapy disciplines such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, speech therapy and/or hydrotherapy, and focuses on improving strength, balance and fitness.

Using our gymnasiums and state of the art hydrotherapy pool, the program also includes education, counselling, strategies for daily activities, and advice for patients and carers.

We also regularly monitor our patient's progress and adjust their program as necessary.

Voluntary Assisted Dying

Aurora Healthcare hospitals do not provide voluntary assisted dying services as part of our hospital and health services.

Aurora Healthcare is committed to a compassionate approach to responding to patients who express a desire for information or access to Voluntary Assisted Dying Services. We will provide information and support to access the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Care Coordination Service.
