Inpatient Rehabilitation is for patients requiring intense therapy following an acute episode of illness following a fall, or following a surgical procedure with subsequent deterioration in functional ability. Our multidisciplinary team designs and implement programs to enable patients to achieve greater independence in hospital and on return to home, work and leisure pursuits.
Our Inpatient programs are general run over a three week period, however this will vary from patient to patient. Our team conducts weekly Case Conferences with Specialists, Nursing and Rehabilitation staff to assess each patient's program and progress, and can facilitate family conferences when required.
Our patients benefit from our sophisticated rehabilitation centre, fully equipped with an occupational therapy kitchen, hydrotherapy pool, and gymnasium.
If you do not require inpatient nursing care but you are still in need of achieving rehabilitation goals to assist with your recovery, our Day Programs may be right for you.
Our programs may help you return to work, your favourite leisure activity or help you to live as independently as possible in the community following an illness or injury.
Many of our day programs are run 2 to 3 times per week, however, this may vary depending on your rehabilitation physician’s and multidisciplinary team recommendations, as well as the program you are attending and your individual treatment needs.
We have specific programs for a range of conditions including:
